Welcome to the online course of Professor Érico Fonseca, Associate Principal Trumpet with the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra and Professor of Music at the Federal University of Ouro Preto.

This course was created with the purpose to help you to improve your playing. The content on the platform is intended for trumpeters of all ages and levels of expertise. 

Private lessons with Prof. Erico Fonseca are held in Portuguese, English, French, Spanish and German.

The pedagogical basis of this online course was inspired in trumpet teaching concepts gained in Switzerland, where Prof. Érico Fonseca studied and worked for almost 8 years.  There he was an award winner in competitions and worked as a conservatory teacher, orchestral musician, soloist, chamber musician, as well as doing his bachelor's and master's degrees. The platform is also the result of deep research about music education and distance learning. The course is offered to three different levels of expertise: beginner, basic, intermediate and advanced.

This online course for trumpeters will improve your technique and understanding of musical expression. The suggested activities for each level will help you to locate yourself within the platform. Enjoy a good practice!
